Description:

This county approved course, led by certified Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) instructors, is designed to teach/evaluate a student's ability as an upcoming safe and responsible Certified Firearm Permit (CFP) holder.  Under careful guidance, student's will develop the firearm skills and critical thinking needed to prevail in an defensive encounter.

A shooting qualification will be administered at the end of course under the specific county guidelines.  As CCW permitting is new to the Bay Area, we understand that student's may lack the skills to work confidently rapid firing and using a holster. To ensure the success of our students, BAT instructors will help each individual students work on any fundamental deficits while progressing those abilities to pass the test.
